Immunization Clinics are held daily from 8:00 to 4:00 and all required immunizations are administered by public health nurses to both children and adults. Appointments recommended.
Child Health Clinic offers well child screenings for infants and children up to age 21. Lead testing is performed on children from age 1 year up to age 6. Appointments are required for this clinic.
Case Management for At Risk Children (CMARC) Services are available to families of children that are enrolled in Medicaid or are low income or are uninsured. The Social Workers work closely with the family to coordinate comprehensive services involving community resources, child development and needed health education.

Case Management for High Risk Pregnance (CMHRP) services are available to pregnant women enrolled in North Carolina Medicaid and to a limited number of low income, uninsured pregnant women. These CMHP's are social workers or nurses that ensure you receive the best possible care while you are pregnant and after you deliver your baby.
Nurse-Family Partnership is a program for women who are having their first baby. If you enroll, a registered nurse will visit you in your home throughout pregnancy and continue to visit until your baby is 2 years old.
Miscellaneous:
- Hearing and Vision screening available and by appointment only.
- Sickle Cell Counseling clinic is held at the health department the 4th Wednesday of each month from 10 am till 12 noon. Appointments only.
- Children's Developmental Services Agency from Wilmington, schedule their own appointments to do developmental evaluations here for local children. Monthly speech and hearing clinics are also held here by appointment.
